Bmw Mini Saves Money   by Ace Abbey

The Mini Cooper, or Mini as it’s commonly called, has been on the market since the 1950s. It has had a rich history and has long been a popular car specifically geared toward the middle class. Easy to park and maneuver in traffic, the Mini Cooper continued to grow in popularity. BMW bought the British Motor Corporation and produced a new version of the Mini in 2000.

The New Mini or the BMW MINI retains much of the same style and driving feel as The Classic Mini. Although the newer model is much bigger, it still is considered a rival to other compact cars on the market. Cars like the Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit, and Toyota Yaris all rival the Mini’s fuel economy.

If you are looking for a sporty car that gets good gas mileage, than the Mini may be your best choice. Most drivers say that it has the driving feel of a sports car but unlike the other automobiles manufactured by its parent company, tends toward better fuel economy. When you look at the specs for the 2011 Mini Cooper Hardtop–the traditional model–you learn that it gets in the upper thirties on the highway. Just cruising around town you can expect at least the upper twenties as far as mile to the gallon, not bad for a sporty little car that has top speeds of 127 mile per hour. You can imagine the money you will save on fuel when you purchase a Mini as your grocery getter or you commuter car. Your wallet will appreciate it, and you will appreciate the compliments you get on the look of the car.

There are so many fun combinations you can choose from when designing your car from scratch. According to the BMW MINI website, there is a possible 10 million combinations of color, body type, wheels and extras to choose from. Most MINI owners get caught up in what color of hardtop they want. From the striking white contrast top to the Union Jack to racing checkers, there are many options to choose from on the hardtop alone.

As for how it stacks up against competition, most MINI owners will tell you that one you own a Mini you won’t ever own anything else. They are as fun to own as they are to drive. Sitting in one is a different experience than any other car. Great attention to detail in the interior makes the small car feel luxurious. There is a decent amount of room inside to keep you from feeling like you’re in a compact space.

The moral of the story is that if you are at all curious about the Bmw Mini Cooper, take one off the lot and out for a spin. You may find that the driving feel and look of the car, along with the great fuel mileage that it gets, will sell you on finally getting the MINI you have always dreamed of.
