I’m looking forward to get a Mini Cooper but don’t know the difference between “s” and regular?
Hello everyone.
I want to get a mini cooper, the normal one(hardtop I believe is called).
I went to the official site to read about the differences between the regular mini cooper and the Mini Cooper S. I don’t know much about cars so it was hard to understand all the info. the website provided.
so I want to know the differences between the mini cooper and the mini cooper s?
I decided to come here because of my poor knowledge of cars. If I go to a dealership they’re gonna try to trick me (I feel).
Also is it true that Mini Coopers are stick shift?
Is it hard to learn how to drive stick shift?
The difference between the cooper and cooper S is that the S stands for Sport and therefor the Cooper S has more horsepower, a sport suspension and a turbocharger. If your not a car person i don’t recommend the S because it’s a harsher ride and you probably don’t care about the extra speed. As to your second question no not all MINI Cooper are sticks, the MINI today have automatics with paddle shifter that let you choose between manual mode that lets you shift the car yourself but doesn’t use a clutch or automatic mode with runs the same way all automatics do.
